William Sharp is a Visual Artist, born in New York and currently residing in Los Angeles, CA and looking to collaborate.

“My philosophy is that visual storytelling starts with the pen. Thumbnails and Sketches that lead into the story and boarding. Creating the visual road map that guides the narrative and structure.”

Sharp is a artist whose work is profoundly influenced by symbolism and mythology. Utilizing vibrant color pallets and distinctive techniques, such as etching symbols into the gesso, his work conveys distorted, often exaggerated interpretations of his subconscious thoughts. Layered with subtle depth, each piece renders a vivid and immersive visual experience.

Sharp’s artistic talent emerged during his childhood in New York, where his unconventional upbringing led him to explore the world through drawing. In the early ‘90s, Sharp earned a BFA in illustration from Parsons School of Design. He then spent years traveling abroad, creating commissioned paintings for renowned interior designers and art collectors. Today, Sharp works with a variety of mediums, including photography and film.
